The Carter Family Marionettes  presents
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Get ready for magic & mayhem when the Italian clown Pulcinella becomes the Sorcerer's Apprentice.  The Carter Family's newest puppet prooduction is based on an old folk tale which was made into an amusing poem by Goethe and immortalized by Mickey Mouse in Fantasia.  Will Pulcinella survive the raging waters and find true love with Mimi, the Parisian street urchin?  Find out in this funny and fantastical puppet extravaganza!. The Carter Family Marionettes have been featured performers at National and World Puppet Festivals . The company has been awarded the "UNIMA/USA Citation of Excellence" (the highest award in American puppet theater) for three of their productions. The Carters are known for their mastery and preservation of the traditional Sicilian marionette theater known as Opera dei Pupi. Two shows daily at the BBQ Stage.

All Hirsch, Alleyoop, is a storyteller, historian, poet, riddler, puppeteer, musician, singer, teacher, dad and a grandpa!  He entertains kids of all ages.  He knows more songs, stories and riddles than anybody else his size or shape.  He has at least one story or song for every occasion.  He has more whistles than you can shake a stick at.  With more than 37 years experience, he brings laughter, joy and inspiration to children everywhere.   Three shows daily.  www.alleyoop.us
